MISSION
IFWC is a diverse body of believers called to build and teach families empowered living through faith.
VISION
International Family Worship Center is building families, serving communities, and pleasing God
.
OUR HISTORY
International Family Worship Center (IFWC) was founded in 2007 by Pastors Reggie and Candi Stewart.
The Stewarts received the vision for IFWC in 1995, shortly after graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, under the guidance of Kenneth Hagin. During the 12 years that followed, they served faithfully as assistant pastors at a number of thriving ministries throughout the country, including Liberty World Outreach Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Impacting Your World Christian Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
On January 21, 2007, more than a decade after Pastors Reggie and Candi received the vision of pioneering a church in Connecticut, IFWC’s first service was held at the Courtyard Marriott. From there, IFWC transitioned out of hotels and into a school auditorium, followed by a shared space with a local synagogue. In September 2016, IFWC excitedly purchased its current location.
REGGIE STEWART
SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Reggie is passionate about helping men become authentic in their manhood. Dedicated to encouraging men to be better husbands and strong leaders in their churches and communities, he is called to help father what is now a fatherless generation.
A graduate of Salem State College, Oral Roberts University and Rhema Bible Training Center, Pastor Reggie holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing, a master’s in divinity, and a certificate in pastoral studies. Pastor Reggie is also the founder and owner of CT Stars AAU Basketball, an organization serving hundreds of boys and girls. He is known for using biblical principles as he coaches and mentors these young men and women to help shape and develop their character.
Married to his college sweetheart, Pastor Reggie is also a family man. He is an exemplary father of four children: Tiara, Isaiah, Le’Nora, and Joshua, and the proud grandfather of Baleigh.
CANDI STEWART
EXECUTIVE PASTOR
Pastor Candi Stewart serves as the Executive Pastor of IFWC. She is responsible for the development of the church staff and volunteers, as well as the leadership in working toward the church’s mission. She is intentional about living life with purpose while enjoying the journey.
Born in Cape Verde Island, Pastor Candi is also passionate about leading mission trips back home as a way of giving back to those in need of hope, reminding them that they are not forgotten. She has a heart for missions and people who are at a disadvantage.
Additionally, she serves on the board of Women Empowered, an organization that strives to empower and strengthen women. One of her goals in life is to help other women find their way to fulfillment, which is what initially inspired her to co-author “Women Empowering Women: Break the Mold and Make a Difference.”
Pastor Candi holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Pastor Candi is also passionate about families and marriages. She highly values learning and development in this context and is certified by Marriage Today to teach Marriage on the Rock, by Jimmy Evans. Her greatest joy in life is her family and the joint pursuit of God with her husband.
"DON'T FEED YOUR PAST,
FEED YOUR FUTURE."
